Homes in Thailand under $100K

Under $100,000 in Thailand is almost entirely condos. One-bed units in Chiang Mai's Nimman, Bangkok's On Nut and Phra Khanong, Hua Hin resort developments, and parts of Pattaya. Foreign buyers face a critical restriction: Thais and foreigners can own condos freehold (up to 49% of any building foreign-owned), but foreigners cannot own land. A cheap Thai house at $80K is almost always land-locked behind leasehold or nominee structures that are legally risky. Stick to freehold condos at this tier. Expect fully furnished 30-45mยฒ units with pool access, modern Thai middle-class finishes, and developer maintenance programs.
